The fashion industry is rapidly shifting toward circular practices, yet educational resources often fail to provide students with practical guidance. Students are expected to understand complex sustainability concepts while simultaneously managing their own design projects.

UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM

Rather than creating another book about sustainability, I wanted to understand how students actually learn and work. Research showed that students benefit from guidance that is integrated into their workflow instead of separated into long-form reading material. Existing resources explain what circular fashion is, but rarely support designers while they are actively developing a project.
This insight led to a system consisting of two complementary products:
